Skirt Challenge- Day 11

So, today consisted of cleaning, taking care of sicklies, knitting and ripping up carpet. Hagen and I both wore skirts that we made:

Hagen wore her Built Ford Tough tee, and a tiered skirt I made.

Skirt Challenge- Day 10

Hey Ya'll, Layla here!

Here is what we wore today:

Hagen went with a leopard print shirt and the skirt she made (I think she really likes it!), and pigtails, of course! I wore a plain blue shirt ( you know, the one that Hagen always steals...) and a printed skirt. I made the headband, you will never guess out of what. And there is Eli!

                                                       

Our beautiful momma wore a fair-trade, highwaisted skirt, and a teal shirt. Simple, yet stylish!

And that is my baby sis, Olivia, sporting some crocheted shoes I made her!

Skirt Challenge- Day 8-9

Sorry, we are just now posting yesterdays outfits! Today and yesterday were, both, very productive.They included, rotten tomatoes, cleaning, cooking, DIY T-shirt rugs, (I will post them when there finished) DIY incubator for our chicken and duck eggs, sitting outside and feeling the wind in my hair,and of course the Skirt Challenge!!!

We had a great day at church today, hope you all did as well!

Matilda is back, but we didn't get a chance to get a pic of her. But she wore the little red dress that she wore on day 3.

Today I (Hagen) wore a cute tiered skirt I stole from Layla, and a little brown shrug.

It's Day 6, and Matilda has fallen behind. She decided to wear capris to the Farmers Market, but do not despair, for she will return!

Today, Hagen wore a very cute, lacy tiered skirt with a turquoise shirt, both stolen from her sister!

It's Day 2 of the Great Skirt Challenge, and here is what we wore.

Matilda picked a cute graphic tee and paired it with a preppy skirt. The skirt was a little short, so she threw on some stockings.

The Great Skirt Challenge

A few weeks ago, a friend gave us tons of clothes to go through. We found so many cute skirts! We all enjoy wearing skirts, but we always go back to pants a few days later. So, we decided to challenge ourselves... we are going to wear skirts/dresses for a whole month, and see if it changes our views/feelings on skirts. The Rules:

• Skirts/Dress lengths, to the knee or below.
• Modest shirts...
• And our outfits have to be cute and stylish! 

Pretty easy guidelines, huh? We will be posting our outfits and progress daily, and tutorials, too!

New Life

Hey y'all! Long time, no see, right? What a busy summer we have had! Here are just a few things that happened while we were away-

1. My family went to South Carolina for 4th of July, and I stayed home to take care of the animals.
2. They brought our cousins back here, and they spent the summer with us.
3. Our friends house burnt down, but everyone was safe.
4. I went on the big truck with Dad, and covered over 2,000 miles!
5. We butchered a chicken with the cousins... ( city kids )
6. We drove back to South Carolina, and I got to see Folly Beach...
7. We went to a wonderful Greek restaurant, it was just like the way we cook! No soy!
8. I have been crocheting, and crocheting, and crocheting...
9. I learned how to make a granny square. Why I never learned before, I don't know.
10. Mom went to Texas, and got to see some old friends, and...
11. Annabell had her babies!!!

I am so proud of her! She had an amazing birth, and everyone was there to see it. She gave birth to twins, Luna and Maximus. I decided to name him Maximus because 1) he looks so much like the first Max and 2) because he has the same personality, and they aren't even related!

 I am now working on getting them registered and finding good, loving homes. God is so Good, He has blessed me, and I was able to witness new life! -Layla
