What She Wore Wednesdays- Crochet Shrug

 Hello Y'all!
Now it's Hagen's turn to show off her feminine side...

I love how she paired this shrug with the long sleeved shirt. It's actually funny, she was just playing around with my clothes, slipped it on over her shirt, and said "How does this look?"
I said ((GASP)) "That is actually really cute! How come we didn't think of that before?"

The length of this jean skirt wasn't quite right, it cut her off at the wrong spot. So, she hemmed it and gave it a classic thick hem. It's much better now!

-What She Wore-
shirt: Wal-mart $3
crochet shrug: from a friend $0
skirt: from a friend $0
shoes: from a friend $0

Such a cute outfit for only 3 bucks... really?
We obviously have some good (and cute) friends!

Hoping you are having a wonderful Wednesday! We are looking forward to doing an extra long I <3 Thursdays post tomorrow. See ya then!
Blessings,
Layla

What She Wore Wednesdays~ Country Dress

Dear Readers...
Please forgive us!!
We have not done what we said we would do...

But... I am going to make it up to you!!

This fine Wednesday
Layla wore a duper cute country dress that one of our good friends, Kaelyn from Farm Girl Fashion,
   made for Layla's Birth Day!

And when she paired it with her combat boots,
it really set it of!

Ain't she so cute? :)

The dress was just a tad to big...
so she tailored it a bit...
and added some elastic to the sleeves to make them puffy!

 I really like this one...
the wind was blowing just right!

Dress- made by friend  $0
Boots- army surplus store $25
Headband- homemade $0

I Love this outfit!!
What are your thoughts?

I will be posting Matilda next, so don't go away!!

Blessings~ Hagen

Just a walk in the meadow...

Just a walk in the meadow...

Just a walk in the meadow... by layla-wilbanks featuring a scoop neck shirt

I am looking forward to the spring!
Don't get me wrong, I love winter, it's one of my favorite seasons (there is only four to choose from). But lately it has been so, so cold, and we have been inside a lot, that I feel like I'm getting cabin fever! So, I wait in expectation for Spring to appear!

What do you think of this outfit?
Is it cold where you live?
Blessings,
Layla

I ♥ Thursday {No. 3}

It's Thursday once again. So sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

This is my favorite cleaner! It works on everything, and doesn't scratch. It has been around since 1886. It's only 98 cents at Wal-Mart!

As I said last week, I am still loving skirts and cardis! But I am also loving boots and leggings, too!

I am in love with my guitar this week. I finally memorized Amazing Grace!

I am also loving this song. I love this folky music!

Country Girl

Country Girl

Country Girl by layla-wilbanks featuring summer scarves

 Howdy Y'all!
How has your Sunday been? Mine has been wonderful! We had an amazing church service, full of testimonies and worship, followed with lunch and fellowship. My friend Sarah and I plan to go exploring in the forest this afternoon!

What do you think of this Country Girl set? I love this prairie look, I know it's not very colorful, but I think it's just right for running around in the field, and feeling feminine! And I adore the horse earrings!

I pray that the rest of your Sabbath day will be blessed!
Blessings, Layla
